Recombinant human interleukin-1A (rhIL-1A) is a potent inflammatory cytokine with diverse biological activities. Its synthesis involves integration the gene encoding IL-1A into an appropriate expression system, followed by transfection of the vector into a suitable host cell line. Various host-based systems, including bacteria, yeast, and mammalian
